Desolation Angel What is the Desolation Angel? Does he even exist? What did Gen dream? Did he imagine the sound of wings? Is the Desolation Angel a figment of his imagination. Is it the result of his or Jo's psyche. Is it the manifestation of some unknown power? Was it coincidence that a tower fell the night he dreamed of the angel? Who else knows about Jo's dreams? Has anybody else seen the Desolation Angel? What is the Desolation Angel? Obviously- unanswered questions!

Shay Two-Trees Gen's closest friend. Helped out gen when he was living in the street. Also friend of 'jo. Knows jo history. Hints about it. Jo hasn't told Gen everything. Doesn't approve of Gen & Jo's relationship. Shay thinks Gen could cause problems for Jo. Like his twp friends, Shay is exhouse himself too. He was robbed of one eye for killing house property. And his arm so he couldnt play the violin anymore. He was trained to be a classical musician. He had a mechanical arm n and eye put in- he'cleans up' chips. Mass produced chips while cheap aren't 'clean'- they have hardware and software restrictons and trackers built into them. If you dont want to be tracked you get our friends Shay n Genzo in to modify things. They've got a steady clientale. Their activities arent quite legal. But the Houses tolerate them because their services come in handy for them too. Of course, that's not all they do. They're both known to be renegade programmers. and that's where the big money comes in!

Lord Grey Canson is the head of one of the most influential towers in in the city. Once upon a time, he was probably a better person than he is now. Once he was called only Grey. between the black and white lies the grey. but things have changed. he has lost his balance. he lost his soul to save this city during the demon wars. i've not finished writing vision chant. i have to hint what's been done in the past of desolation angel and not try to give away the future. but sometimes I wonder if the past is only an echo of the future and we cannot see it because we can only live on the surface of time. so what can I tell you about him. He is Ran's father. In a way, he is evil and in a way he is not. he does a better job from running the tower than ran ever could. He doesnt see what Ran is plotting. But he can see what plots others plan against them and contrive tatics to counteract them. he is the most powerful man in the city. he is a very strong mage because of the dead hand of god he has replaced his left hand with. The hand was diminished by the demon wars but it still is strong. Just as he is. Dont underestimate this man.

Phoenix Mirkwood Another dead person from Vision Chant. Apparently he is the chief of the witch tribe that is hidden in the Dead Zone. he has allied himself to the Uru-Hai. A Crime family that runs the Darkside. The Uru-hai is also aligned(secretively) with the Grey Tower People. Phoenix lost his last battle with Grey 30 years ago and was assumed to be dead. one has to wonder if he is spoiling for another fight considering his recent decision to support the new demon messiah.
